Role Overview
As a Solution Consultant, you will serve as the strategic linchpin between client business objectives and offshore technical delivery teams. Combining deep platform expertise with strong engagement ownership, you will lead the full engagement lifecycle—from pre-sales and initial planning through implementation, adoption, and optimization.
You will act as a trusted advisor, consulting clients on Salesforce capabilities while ensuring delivery excellence through clarity, accountability, and structured execution.
Role Mandate
- End-to-End Delivery: Lead, manage, and deliver Salesforce implementation projects within committed timelines and budgets.
- Customer Advocacy: Build long-term customer relationships and excel in executive stakeholder management.
- Account Growth: Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and build a future project pipeline.
- Solution Architecture: Translate complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with best practices.
- Pre-Sales Leadership: Drive pre-sales by crafting strong implementation proposals covering scope, solution approach, and accurate estimates.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure Strong Delivery Outcomes for North America Customers
- Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of Salesforce projects.
- Plan and facilitate discovery workshops to uncover client needs, gather requirements, and document business processes.
- Own project requirements and provide clear direction to both client stakeholders and internal teams to ensure correct solution delivery.
- Consult clients on Salesforce platform capabilities and map them effectively to business requirements.
- Act as the bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring seamless integration with backend/ERP systems and providing functional guidance across the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Manage day-to-day delivery tracking, scope changes, and risk identification while coordinating cross-functional offshore teams based in India to ensure high-quality execution.
- Lead regular project meetings, including weekly client status calls, internal standups, and working sessions following Agile delivery practices.
- Maintain consistent communication with client stakeholders and internal leadership on progress, risks, milestones, and deliverables.
- Support and enable internal team members (Business Analysts, Developers, Technical Leads, and QA) to execute tasks with high quality and within timelines.
- Coach and mentor Business Analysts to help them transition into consultant roles.
- Drive strong collaboration between onshore and offshore teams through structured knowledge transfer, backlog readiness, and dependency management.

- Client Satisfaction: High CSAT/NPS scores, strong customer reference ability, and long-term trusted relationships.
- Revenue Generation: Expansion of existing accounts through proactive opportunity identification and SOW execution.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Strong stakeholder engagement and communication maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Offshore Engagement: Effective knowledge transfer and daily alignment with offshore teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Ideal Background
- 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce consulting experience with a proven track record of delivering complex projects successfully.
- Expert-level knowledge in at least three of the following Salesforce clouds:
- Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Experience Cloud
- Marketing Cloud
- CPQ / Revenue Cloud
- Field Service
(Must be supported by active certifications and real project execution experience.)
- Familiarity with Data Cloud and Agentforce, with an AI-first mindset to evaluate and recommend emerging Salesforce technologies.
- Strong inclination to incorporate AI into daily workflows to drive productivity and operational efficiency.
- Comfortable managing multiple client projects in parallel.
- Experience working in an onshore-offshore delivery model, collaborating with offshore teams in India.
- Strong solutioning ability to map complex requirements to standard Salesforce features and provide innovative recommendations.
- Strong structured thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills; naturally curious, detail-oriented, and eager to deeply understand business needs.
- Proven pre-sales experience including proposal development, solution definition, and effort estimation across opportunities.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, digestible explanations for non-technical audiences.
