Key Responsibilities
- • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium.
- • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications.
- • Develop and execute performance, load, and stress tests using Apache JMeter.
- • Identify, document, track, and validate software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- • Build and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks.
- • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
- • Analyse test results, identify bottlenecks, and support root-cause analysis of application issues.
- • Prepare test plans, test cases, test reports, and quality metrics.
- • Ensure adequate test coverage and adherence to quality standards across releases.
- • Proactively identify opportunities to improve test automation efficiency and overall QA processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- • 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with strong hands-on experience in test automation.
- • Strong proficiency in Playwright for browser-based automation.
- • Good experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation framework development.
- • Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for performance, load, and stress testing.
- • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python for test automation.
- • Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman or REST-assured.
- • Good understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile/Scrum practices.
- • Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- • Ability to analyse test execution results, troubleshoot failures, and identify root causes.
- • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- • Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
- • Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
- • Knowledge of cross-browser testing and test execution in parallel.
- • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- • Relevant QA automation or performance-testing certifications are an advantage.
