SuiteWorld 2026 ran from October 25 to 28 in Las Vegas. Evan Goldberg's keynote message was simple: NetSuite AI now does the work, and people approve it.
Available now: 45+ SuiteSkills, AI portlets, AI workspaces, industry SuiteAgents (software, product and construction) and the NetSuite AI Connector Service, which Oracle says 13,000+ customers have adopted.
New ways to start: SuiteExpress, an AI-assisted implementation toolset for software companies in the US and Canada, and QuickStart, a free AI-first finance platform for eligible US tech startups.
Announced for later: SuiteAgent Studio, SuiteFlow Agent, the SuiteAgent Management Workspace, Ask Oracle Connectors and NetSuite Data Intelligence.
NetSuite Next is live in the US and Canada and is rolling out to the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
What to do now: Clean your data, write field descriptions for AI, and plan your SuiteScript 2.1 and SOAP migration before the 2028.2 release.
Oracle NetSuite announced SuiteSkills, AI portlets, AI workspaces, industry SuiteAgents, an Intelligent Close workspace, SuiteExpress for faster implementations, QuickStart for startups, and NetSuite Data Intelligence (the new name for NetSuite Analytics Warehouse). The shared theme: AI that drafts transactions, builds workflows and runs agents, while people review and approve.
If you run NetSuite, or you're thinking about it, SuiteWorld 2026 matters more than most years. The announcements weren't about a new screen or a nicer report. They were about who does the work inside your ERP.
Our team spent four days at the event. This guide splits what you can use today from what is still on the roadmap, and what each change means for your team.
SuiteWorld is Oracle NetSuite's annual customer and partner conference. The 2026 edition took place in Las Vegas, with 350+ in-person sessions and a free virtual stream called SuiteWorld On Air.
Two numbers set the scene. NetSuite now serves more than 44,000 customers across 220 countries and territories, according to its SuiteExpress press release. And more than 15,000 businesses already use AI with NetSuite in some form, through Ask Oracle or through outside assistants like Claude and ChatGPT.
Goldberg opened Day 2 with the idea that AI is becoming the main way people use NetSuite. Instead of clicking through menus, users describe what they need. The system finds the data, runs the analysis and drafts the next step.
The product keynote on Day 3 showed what that looks like in practice. Ask Oracle:
Every action had a control. Users can approve once, approve for the rest of a chat, or deny. Agents run under a NetSuite role, log what they do in System Notes, and can be turned off with one click. NetSuite summed up the adoption path as "insight, then action, then automation."
For finance leaders, that is the real story. AI can take on routine work and your audit trail stays intact.
SuiteSkills are prebuilt instruction sets that teach AI how to handle specific business tasks. Oracle launched more than 45 of them across finance, operations, sales and projects. They're free and available on GitHub and in AI marketplaces.
Think of a skill as a playbook. You don't have to explain how your firm runs onboarding or buying. The agent calls the right skill and follows it. You can also save your own tasks as skills.
The AI Connector Service uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to link outside AI assistants to NetSuite. Users stay inside their existing roles and permissions, so an assistant only sees what that user could see.
Oracle says 13,000+ customers have adopted it since it launched last year. We covered the setup and use cases in our guide to how the NetSuite AI Connector works.
AI portlets let users build dashboard components by describing them in plain language. A controller can ask for a cash runway view or a sales forecast, and Ask Oracle builds the portlet.
AI workspaces go a step further. They bring people, agents and tasks for one process into a single place. The first one Oracle shipped focuses on period close. An AI Workspace Builder, which creates workspaces from a description, was shown as coming soon.
SuiteAgents are AI agents that work inside NetSuite toward a set goal. Industry agents for software, product and construction companies are available now. Agents for services, healthcare and nonprofits are planned.
Each agent is defined by four things: its goal, its instructions, its access permissions and its business context. Examples shown on stage included inventory optimization, revenue leakage detection, a sales assistant and pricing policy review.
Oracle also demonstrated three tools that its press materials list for a future release:
For a deeper look at how agents fit Indian and global finance teams, read our post on NetSuite SuiteAgents and agentic ERP.
NetSuite now treats close as ongoing work, not a monthly scramble. The Intelligent Close workspace:
NetSuite cited customers who cut close from around 20 days to two or three. JonnyPops said it cut its close time nearly in half this year. If your team still runs a 10-day close, our article on AI financial close automation explains where the time goes.
NetSuite Analytics Warehouse now has a new name: NetSuite Data Intelligence. It mixes NetSuite data with data from other tools. Goldberg said its Ask Oracle agent starts to arrive in November, but the press release gives no firm date.
These will pull outside data, such as the web, SharePoint and spreadsheets, into Ask Oracle. They are planned, with no date yet.
SuiteExpress uses AI to speed up setup. It builds a knowledge base from your meeting notes, files and recordings, then pairs it with what NetSuite knows about your industry. AI helps with requirements, gap analysis, data checks and testing, while a consultant oversees the work.
Worksmith, one early customer, went live in about 60 days against a planned six months. SuiteExpress is available now for software companies in the US and Canada.
QuickStart launched on October 14, ahead of the event. It's a free, AI-first finance platform for eligible early-stage tech startups in the US. It covers accounting, banking, AR, AP, bank reconciliation and startup metrics like MRR, burn and runway. Oracle says setup takes under 10 minutes, and the data can be reached from Claude and ChatGPT through MCP. Details are on the NetSuite QuickStart page.
For founders, the appeal is clear: start on the same platform you'll use at Series B. Our post on why Series A founders switch to NetSuite explains why that path matters.
Not everything shown on stage is live yet. Here is the status, based on Oracle's October 26 press releases.

Oracle says timing for planned features may change, so check your own account first.
Goldberg also said AI features are included once turned on. That isn't in the press releases, so confirm pricing with your account manager.
NetSuite Next is the AI-first version of NetSuite. It's live in the US and Canada, with rollout under way in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Oracle gave no dates for other markets, including India and wider EMEA.
You don't need NetSuite Next to start. Ask Oracle works in current NetSuite versions, and SuiteSkills and the AI Connector Service are available today.
The most useful sessions we sat in were not keynotes. They were admin sessions on AI readiness, and they all said the same thing: AI is only as good as the data under it.
Gaps and noise in your records turn into wrong answers. One customer session shared a five-step data fitness checklist that any NetSuite team can apply:
Start AI descriptions with fields that are critical, easy to confuse, or unique to your account. If your data needs work first, our NetSuite data migration checklist is a good starting point.
A second session, on preparing NetSuite for agents, offered a five-step route: Define, Locate, Apply, Connect, Improve. Define what metadata means for AI. Locate where it lives. Apply it through Ask Oracle, AI descriptions and memo fields. Connect it to outside tools through MCP. Then test and improve.
The key idea: different AI jobs need different inputs. Memo fields, for example, are record evidence, not metadata. They help with jobs like matching bank lines to invoices.
Two technical deadlines sit behind all the AI news. Neither moved at SuiteWorld.
SuiteScript: According to Oracle's Transitioning to SuiteScript 2.1 guide, SuiteScript 1.0 gets critical fixes only from 2027.1. Support for SuiteScript 1.0, 2.0 and scripts marked 2.x is expected to be removed in the 2028.2 release.
SOAP web services: Oracle's SOAP Removal Plans FAQ says no new Token-Based Authentication integrations can be built from 2027.1. In 2028.2, all SOAP endpoints will be disabled and SOAP integrations will stop working.
If your account has years of custom scripts and older integrations, start with an inventory now. A NetSuite optimisation audit can show which scripts and integrations need work, and how much.
You get the most today. Software-industry SuiteAgents, SuiteExpress and QuickStart all target this segment first. A Series A SaaS firm can start on QuickStart, then move to full NetSuite with AI-assisted implementation.
Inventory agents are the headline. On stage, a distributor with 30,000 parts used an agent to find $700,000 in slow-moving stock. Warehouse management and advanced shipping tools were also among the most visible on the expo floor.
Intelligent Close and reconciliation agents address the biggest pain point: manual close work across subsidiaries.
Project risk agents can flag overallocated staff and slipping milestones before they hit revenue. Services agents are still on the roadmap, but Ask Oracle already supports project analysis.
Need help mapping this to your account? Our AI in NetSuite services cover readiness assessments, feature activation and agent governance.
SuiteWorld 2026 took place from October 25 to 28, 2026, in Las Vegas. Evan Goldberg gave the opening keynote on October 26, and the product keynote followed on October 27.
SuiteSkills are prebuilt instruction sets that give AI the business knowledge it needs for specific tasks in finance, operations, sales and projects. Oracle released more than 45 at SuiteWorld 2026. They're free on GitHub and in AI marketplaces.
Not yet. As of November 2026, NetSuite Next is live in the US and Canada and rolling out in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Oracle hasn't shared a date for India. Ask Oracle, SuiteSkills and the AI Connector Service work on current NetSuite versions.
SuiteExpress is NetSuite's AI-assisted implementation toolset. It speeds up requirements, data migration and testing, but it runs under consultant oversight. Partners still own design, complex integrations and change management. It's currently limited to software companies in the US and Canada.
Oracle expects to remove support for SuiteScript 1.0, 2.0 and 2.x-annotated scripts in the 2028.2 release. SuiteScript 1.0 moves to critical fixes only in 2027.1. SOAP web services are also disabled in 2028.2.
We have worked on NetSuite projects for more than 18 years and over 500 implementations. Here is our honest read after four days on the ground in Las Vegas.
On stage, AI drafted purchase orders and closed the books. On the expo floor, most customers we spoke with still run NetSuite the traditional way. That gap is your opportunity. The companies that move in the next 12 months will set the pace for their industries.
Every AI readiness session came back to one point: clean records and clear descriptions. Two companies can switch on the same features and get very different results. Our advice is to fix your data before you buy anything new.
SuiteExpress and QuickStart will make basic setup faster and cheaper. That is good news. But speed alone won't fix a complex business. The value now sits in industry depth, tricky integrations, governance and what happens after go-live. Choose a partner for those skills, not for hours billed.
Close, reconciliation, AP and AR came up in almost every conversation we had. If you want one place to start with AI, start there. The results are easy to measure, and your auditors will thank you for the extra controls.
SuiteScript and SOAP changes will hit accounts with years of custom code. Teams that plan now can migrate on their own schedule. Teams that wait will be doing it under pressure.
• Already on NetSuite: run a data and script health check this quarter, then pilot one AI use case in finance.
• Planning a move to NetSuite: design your data and naming rules for AI from day one. It costs far less than fixing them later.
• Early-stage startups: look at QuickStart if you qualify, and plan your path to full NetSuite before your next funding round.
AI in NetSuite is no longer a future topic. It is a now topic, and the right first steps are practical, not flashy. At SaasWorx, our team helps businesses in India and around the world turn these announcements into real results, from AI readiness to end-to-end NetSuite implementation. If you want a clear view of where your account stands, we're happy to walk through it with you.
